Thanks to the KfW subsidy, wallboxes for e-cars are in hot demand. The pot was replenished several times up to 500 million euros, but now it's over, because the funding pot is almost empty. And there are no plans for a further increase. Applications with a volume of 530 million euros have already been submitted.
Thanks to an included "tolerance sum," it makes sense to submit an application now, but probably only until June 30. Because the tolerance sum reaches approximately one week, said the spokeswoman of the Federal Ministry of Transport (BMVI).
So you get in the final spurt still 900 euros for a private charging station:
1.Apply for the grant at KfW before you order the wallbox.
2.Prerequisite for the grant: Purchase of 100 percent green electricity; total costs amount to at least 900 euros per charging point.

4.Upload your invoices and arrange for payment of the grant.
